The Tennessee Board for Licensing Contractors is an independent regulatory body in the state of Tennessee.
"The mission of the Tennessee Board for Licensing Contractors is to protect the public health, safety and welfare through the regulation of contractors, home improvement contractors, limited licensed electricians, and limited licensed plumbers."
In March 2026, the Board for Licensing Contractors held a private meeting regarding the complaint I filed against Regency Homebuilders. The Board members voted to close the case without conducting an investigation, citing the existence of ongoing litigation.
Despite acknowledging in its Legal Report (LR) that Regency was using an UNLICENSED engineering firm and using an UNLICENSED individual who was using the credentials of a deceased person; the Board issued only a Letter of Warning to Regency.
